Manufacturing technology of precast concrete walls – New construction solutions for the construction industry

“Currently in the Vietnam market, there are many products that people call panels. Precast panels themselves are just a precast concrete structure that has been available for a long time in the world and is widely applied in many fields such as high-rise & low-rise apartments, villas, industrial houses, hospitals, However, Australia is a pioneer country in the world that has researched, developed and successfully applied precast panels for high-rise apartment buildings. “In your opinion, how much cheaper will this technology be compared to traditional construction?”

“Now, comparing our pure precast panels to the existing design is limp. As we said above, our solution is a comprehensive solution. The value we save from a “pragmatic” architecture design, a structural design that uses precast panels to save iron and concrete, and a back tensioned floor that has a design that saves prestressed cables due to no beams.

The precast panel’s solution helps us not only save time for the construction of the building’s structural system but also helps us be able to complete the building from the bottom up. Therefore, we can construct the frame system and complete the building in the form of rolling instead of serial as today. Progress has therefore been significantly increased. The concept of topping out the building will completely disappear as we will be able to complete a 45-story building within 3 months of taking off the roof.

An apartment on the 10th floor can be completely completed while we are working on the raw part on the 18th floor. “According to Circular 18/2010 / TT-BXD of the Ministry of Construction has allowed us to use foreign standards in the design and construction of construction works. The circular also specifies which investment decision-makers have the right to decide which standards to use and in particular which standards. This is reflected in the construction investment project and submitted to the licensing body.

Besides, at the present, Vietnam also has many sets of prefabricated concrete standards such as TCVN 9115: 2012 and especially the TCVN: 9376: 2012 set of standards applicable to large-plate assembly houses.

Based on the above circulars and standards, we can confirm that this technology can be fully used in buildings in Vietnam.”
